Safely Enable ads.txt on blogger

Google introduces Search Console Beta version and now Google added Ads.txt (Authorized Digital Sellers) on Blogger to enhance the Monetization experience through Google Adsense.

What is Ads.txt (Authorized Digital Sellers) ?

Ads.txt is an initiative of the Interactive Advertising Bureau Tech Lab (IAB) to promote and improve transparency in program advertising. This is an easy way for Google Adsense publishers to clearly point out to authorized buyers to sell their inventory.

Actually for Blogger Ads.txt already existed but now you can edit Ads.txt as per your wish and for those who use it forcibly will get a warning message like below

Your earning are at risk - One or more of your Ads.txt files do not contain the Google Adsense publisher ID. Fix this issue right now to avoid having a serious impact on your revenue.

On the Google Adsense dashboard, Google suggests you to enable Ads.txt for your blogs to more clarity on this programme. now, next question is

How to Enable Ads.txt on Blogger?

To enable ads.txt on Blogger, you can set it in Blogger Dashboard > Setting > Search preferences > Montize > Custom ads.txt > Then, click edit, choose Yes and fill in the following code in the Ads.txt column.

Now, Replace pub-0000000000000000 with your Adsense ID then click save changes. Adsense ID can be found in your Google Adsense dashboard like the illustration in the shown picture below.

To check whether Ads.txt is enabled, you can check in the browser address tab with a link like this. You need to replace your_domain with your blog address.

For those who have a blog with sub-domain of the primary domain. You don't need to enable this Ads.txt - Just enable Ads.txt for the main domain and same will be practised for all sub-domains.
